Help test WristBuddy on Android

Thank you for joining the closed test 🙏 — you’re one of a small group helping me get the Android version of WristBuddy right before it goes public. It should take about 5 minutes, and the few things below are all I need you to look at.

No experience needed. You don’t have to be technical or write a long report. Just open the app, glance through the checklist, and tell me anything that looked off.

How to join

  1. Join the Google Group: groups.google.com/g/wristbuddy-closed-test -> Click on “Join Group” button
  2. Download on Android: play.google.com/apps/testing/app.wristbuddy.wristbuddy or the web play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.wristbuddy.wristbuddy

Have a Wear OS watch? The watch app should install to it automatically — or open the Play Store on the watch and grab it there.

✅ What to check (takes 5 minutes)

First launch

The app opens instantly and shows up in your phone's language.

On your watch

Open WristBuddy → it shows your phone's status. Tap Refresh → the values update.

On your phone

All the rows show up and the values look correct.

Mostly, I’m asking: does anything crash, look broken, or show the wrong language? If something feels off, that’s exactly what I want to hear about.
